The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with a touch of African elegance throughout. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people to navigate and relax. Accessibility was not an issue at all, with ramps and handrails strategically placed for our convenience.

The only thing I would have asked for is a bit more assistance from the children working there. While they were friendly, a little more attention to the needs of senior guests would have made our vacation even more enjoyable.

Indalu Game Reserve is a hidden gem in the heart of the Garden Route, where nature comes alive. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to take part in the elephant walk and witness these gentle giants up close. The kids were in awe, and it was an experience we will cherish forever. The reserve is also home to a variety of other incredible wildlife, including rhinos, zebras, and more. The peacefulness and privacy of this location made it even more special, allowing us to truly connect as a family.

just had the best time at a game reserve in boggomsbaai. indalu was even better than our previous stay. loved the secluded property, comfy beds, and clean bathrooms. the safari drives were unforgettable, seeing giraffes and elephants in their natural habitat. a slice of heaven!

We stayed at a stunning game reserve that exceeded our expectations. the owners, Gerhard and Arina, were fabulous hosts and made us feel welcome. the chalets were exclusive and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed a memorable braai and stargazing experience. the game drive and elephant walk were amazing. the animals roam freely around the camp, creating a truly authentic and non-touristy atmosphere. This place is a must-visit for anyone traveling on the Garden Route in South Africa. Cons: Nothing to mention.

We stayed at Indalu for 2 nights for my husband's 50th birthday and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived until the morning we left, Arina and Gerhard and their son Hanro went over and above to ensure we had a great time. The lodges are beautifully decorated and comfortable and oh so quiet! It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the woodpeckers or wander 50 yards and sit beneath the tree to watch the giraffes, buffalo's, emu, zebra, impala's etc. The game drive was fabulous and so much fun! With birthday boy strapped into a seat on the bonnet of the vehicle it was a truly unforgettable experience! Arina and Gerhard organized a Braai for us which turned out to be a wonderful evening with excellent food, wine and company- it was like sitting with old friends - priceless! The elephant walk was also a great experience, with a special mention to Zondiwe and Noah, their handlers, who really made the whole thing interesting. Lots of amazing photos taken by Hanro. Having done a game drive on a larger, more commercial estate, I'd pick Indalu every time without question - it is a really special place.
